Early Spring Valley History

Spring Valley Historical Association will present a program on coal mining, Tuesday, October 7th at 6pm, in the community room at Richard A. Mautino Memorial Library.  Presenter Richard Joyce will focus on the early decades of Spring Valley's history, including the labor disputes of 1889, 1894, and 1897, information on the city's early leaders and political, religious and ethnic controversies of the time.
