Earth Day Celebration

Family friendly event -  Balloon artist, face painters and Home Depot kits for kids!  There will be a hot dog cart provided by Verucchi's, water and snack bars provided by Hy-Vee, and coffee provided by Starved Rock Coffee.  There will be Perfectly Flawed t-shirts and bags for sale.  There is two miles along the towpath that attendees can help clean up and there will also be a hillside clean up next to the Perfectly Flawed Foundation office at 240 First Street, La Salle, which includes a patch of invasive bush honeysuckle.  They hope to bring awareness to the impact invasive plants have on native grassland eco-systems. 

For those who are unable to attend, there will be social media filters if you still would like to do something good in your neighborhood for Earth Day.
