IVCH prenatal classes begin
The next series of childbirth classes at Illinois Valley Community Hospital gets underway at 6 pm, Wednesday, April 4 in the meeting room inside the hospital's office building at 1305 6th Street. Additional sessions are set for the next three Wednesdays, April 11, 18, and 25.
Taught by IVCH obstetrics unit nurses, the first two classes focus on labor and delivery. Week three class is about breastfeeding and the final week covers newborn care, including infant CPR and car seat safety.
