Kidney & Diabetes Disease Screening

Illinois Valley Community Hospital in cooperation with the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois, is sponsoring a free screening for kidney disease and diabetes from 10 am until 2 pm, Friday, June 8th in the IVCH room at the Peru Mall.
Screening appointments can be made by calling IVCH at 815-780-4642.  Walk-ins will also be welcome.
The screening will include measurements of your blood pressure, blood sugar, body mass index and waist circumference along with a urinalysis and, if necessary, a blood dray.  You will also get a chance to talk with a healthcare professional about your results.
One in three American adults is at risk for kidney disease, according to the National Kidney Foundation.
