POSITION OVERVIEW
Assist customers with a wide variety of services and advise as to how best utilize company products to manage personal finances and provide the highest quality of customer service.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrates a commitment to achieving goals as a bank, department and individual
  • Answers incoming phone calls and resolves customer inquiries
  • Performs all Teller duties including balancing all monies in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Opens all new retail and business deposits accounts for customers
  • Proactively identifies customer needs and matches needs with appropriate products or services, utilizing opportunities to suggest or cross-sell other bank products and services
  • Informs and helps educate customers on relevant digital and self-service options, with the goal of making it simple and convenient for customers
  • Handles other customer service and support requests as appropriate
  • Performs other teller and branch support duties as assigned and appropriate to the role
 
STARTING PAY:     $16.00/Hourly

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  None

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
  • Some college preferred
  • Experience in consultative selling techniques with the demonstrated ability to listen well and understand individual circumstances to make customized recommendations based on each individual situation
Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time value of money comprehension
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of bank products and services
  • Exceptional customer care that satisfies the individual needs of customers and builds loyalty to bank
  • Ability to relate well to customers and coworkers in a positive atmosphere of mutual respect
  • Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.
