About Us

Machinery Maintenance was founded in 1973, formally known as Illinois Valley Millwright Services. Since its inception we have focused on serving the North Central Illinois communities in custom machining, fabrication, and on site field maintenance of heavy industrial equipment. Our machine and fabrication shops are full service from repair and rebuilding of older equipment to duplication of OEM parts to custom builds based on drawings or instructions. Our machine shop focuses on repair and rebuilds of gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, compressors, motors, shafts, journals,etc. While our fabrication shop focuses on custom fabrication of tanks, weldments, structural pieces as well and repairs/rebuilds of buckets, crushers,,etc. In addition to our shops we have dedicated field technicians who service our customers in equipment installation, transfer, alignment, on site fabrication & welding, mechanical repair, process piping and emergency maintenance. All our welders are AWS (American Welder Society) certified in all positions and materials. We maintain OSHA, MSHA and Confined Space certifications.

In 1998, the companies divided in order to service our customers more efficiently - Machinery Maintenance (machine shop), Valley Fabrication (Fabrication shop) and Onsite Repair Services (field service). We are here to handle your toughest jobs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
